SnippKit’s organization workspace (/org) allows you to structure team members into sub-teams, create shared code collections, and control access permissions.

What you can do

With Organizations & Teams, you can:

Create Organizations: Build centralized organization workspaces for your team.
Manage Sub-Teams: Group members into specialized sub-teams (e.g., Frontend Devs, DevOps, Backend Engineers).
Shared Collections: Create collections of snippets and command playbooks attached to specific sub-teams.
Role-Based Access Control (RBAC): Assign Owner, Admin, Editor, and Viewer permissions.
Team Onboarding: Invite new developers to your organization via email or invite links.

Organization Architecture

SnippKit structures organization resources in a 3-tier hierarchy:

Level	Component Route	Purpose & Structure
1. Organization Workspace	/org	Top-level workspace account encapsulating all company members, teams, and billing settings.
2. Sub-Teams	/orgs/teams	Engineering sub-groups (e.g., Frontend Devs, DevOps & Infra, Backend Engineers) with assigned team members.
3. Shared Collections	/orgs/collections	Grouped code repositories (e.g., Design System Components, Deployment Scripts) attached to specific sub-teams.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

SnippKit provides four permission tiers across organizations and collections:

Role	Permissions & Access Level
Owner	Full administrative control over organization settings, billing, member deletion, and team management.
Admin	Manage team members, create sub-teams, invite developers, and manage all shared collections.
Editor	Create, edit, and update snippets and commands within assigned team collections.
Viewer	Read-only access to view and copy code snippets within assigned team collections.
