Appearance & Themes in SnippKit allows you to customize your workspace theme mode (Light, Dark, or System Preference).
SnippKit automatically syncs theme preferences across authentication UI cards, code syntax highlighters, and workspace dashboards.

Customize your theme settings at Settings → General (
/settings/general) or use the theme switcher in the navigation bar.What you can do
With Appearance & Themes, you can:
- Toggle Theme Modes: Switch between Light, Dark, and System Preference.
- Synchronized Syntax Highlighting: Syntax themes adapt dynamically to active light or dark modes.
- Clerk Theme Integration: Sign-in modals and user settings automatically match your selected theme.
Theme Modes Explained
| Theme Mode | Behavior & Description |
|---|---|
| ☀️ Light Theme | Clean white and zinc palette with high-contrast text, ideal for daylight environments. |
| 🌙 Dark Theme | Deep black (#09090b) interface reducing blue light glare and eye fatigue during late-night coding. |
| 💻 System Preference | Automatically synchronizes with your operating system's global light/dark preference. |
Changing Theme Settings
- Click your profile avatar in the top navigation bar and select Settings → General.
- Locate the Theme Preference control card.
- Click Light, System, or Dark.
- Your choice is saved immediately to local storage and active across all workspace pages.
