Personalized Feed
The Personalized Feed is your home timeline in SnippKit.
It shows public snippets and commands from developers you follow, helping you discover useful code, patterns, and ideas without leaving your workflow.
How the feed works
Your feed is built around people you follow.
- You only see content from developers you follow
- Content is ordered by most recent activity
- Both snippets and commands appear in a single, unified feed
If you’re not following anyone yet, your feed will be empty.
Follow-driven feed
Your feed updates automatically as you follow more developers.
What appears in the feed
The feed includes:
- Public code snippets
- Public commands
- Content created by developers you follow
Private content never appears in the feed.
Each item clearly shows:
- The author
- When it was created
- The content type (snippet or command)
Infinite scrolling
The feed uses infinite scrolling to load content smoothly.
- New items load automatically as you scroll
- No manual refresh is required
- Older content loads progressively
This keeps the feed fast and distraction-free.
Discover vs Feed
SnippKit separates discovery from your personal feed.
- Feed → Content from people you follow
- Discover → Explore content outside your network
This ensures your feed stays relevant and signal-focused.
Empty feed state
If your feed is empty, it usually means:
- You’re not following any developers yet
- Followed users haven’t shared public content
SnippKit will guide you to discover and follow developers to get started.
