Billing & Storage in SnippKit allows you to monitor your current subscription tier, track real-time storage quota consumption, upgrade your account plan, and manage renewal billing cycles.

Whether you use SnippKit for personal code snippets or team organizations, your subscription tier determines available storage limits, line limits, and AI assistant query allocations.

Overview

As your code snippet collection, command playbooks, and JSON payloads expand, SnippKit automatically tracks your byte storage usage against your plan's allocated capacity.

Through the Subscription Settings dashboard (/settings/subscription), you can view live storage meters, inspect renewal status, and upgrade to Pro or Pro Plus tiers.

With Billing & Storage, you can:

Track Real-Time Storage: View live byte consumption across all saved snippets, commands, and JSON payloads.
Inspect Renewal Status: Check subscription start dates, expiration dates, and upcoming renewal alerts.
Upgrade Account Plans: Upgrade from Free to Pro or Pro Plus via /pricing for expanded storage capacity.

Storage Metering & Alert Thresholds

Your storage progress bar inside /settings/subscription dynamically updates as you create or delete code snippets:

Normal Usage (< 75%): Displayed in standard zinc/neutral progress colors.
Warning Threshold (75% – 90%): Progress bar turns Amber to notify you that storage capacity is approaching limits.
Critical Threshold (> 90%): Progress bar turns Red, indicating urgent need to clean up unused code or upgrade your plan.

Upgrading Your Subscription

Open Settings → Subscription (/settings/subscription).
Click Upgrade Plan.
Select your desired monthly or annual billing plan on the /pricing page.
Complete checkout via payment provider. Your storage quota updates immediately.
